Extintos was a branded animated mini-series for Bavaria’s Póker, built across several creative teams and animation studios.
With that many moving parts, a big part of the job was making sure the ideas stayed doable, the visual language stayed consistent, and everyone was working toward the same thing from development through final delivery.
The challenge was keeping several studios moving in the same direction without losing control of the creative, the budget or the schedule.
That meant turning the agency and director’s vision into clear, workable direction for each team, while making sure the quality stayed up and the whole thing actually made it to the finish line on time.
I worked as the bridge between the agency, the director and the animation studios, turning creative direction into something each team could actually work with.
That also meant reviewing what was feasible, keeping feedback moving across teams and helping make calls along the way so the series stayed aligned over four months of production and more than 60 contributors.
Extintos became the most-viewed animated digital series in Colombian advertising at the time, with 30M+ views in under two months and more than 500,000 hours watched. It also landed a 90% positive audience response, contributed to a 10% sales bump for Póker, and picked up 1 Gold and 3 Bronze awards at El Dorado.
