Scrimshaw brought me in to mess around with the Robot Fun Monster universe and see what happened once the characters started moving. We started with a few standalone loops, then expanded the collaboration into Scrimshaw’s first-ever ID bumper and a set of Futbol Dragons pieces around the 2026 World Cup.
I worked across concepts, storyboards, direction, production and animation, building each piece around RFM’s chunky shapes, bold colors and built-in sense of movement without polishing away the weirdness that made the artwork fun in the first place.
The approach stayed pretty simple: find the thing that’s fun about each drawing and give it just enough movement to make it hit.
